Raise NWA NONPROFIT ACCELERATOR

Raise NWA is a 14-month nonprofit accelerator program led by the team at goodmakerU in collaboration with Walmart.org and The Jones Center.

The Raise NWA program equips nonprofit leaders to raise awareness and raise funds to make a long-lasting impact in Northwest Arkansas.

In year two of this partnership, 36 nonprofit leaders from 18 organizations based in Washington or Benton county will be selected for participation, at no cost to the nonprofit.

RAISE FUNDS + INCREASE IMPACT

Raise NWA is led by goodmakerU, a nationally recognized leader in nonprofit training with a proven framework for training nonprofit and fundraising leaders.
In this program, leaders will have a hands-on learning experience that equips them to effectively communicate their mission, enhance marketing strategies, and boost fundraising efforts.

Past goodmakerU program participants have seen fundraising results double, triple, or even grow by ten fold.

The Raise NWA initiative will begin to transform the nonprofit ecosystem in Northwest Arkansas, developing healthier and more sustainable organizations.

Raise 2025-26 Program Roadmap
COHORT 1:
• Begins Jan. 2025; Ends Mar. 2026
• Includes a weekly 2-hour session from Jan. 28th through Apr. 1st, 2025.
• Includes a monthly 2-hour session from Apr. 2025 through Mar. 2026.

COHORT 2:
• Begins Aug. 2025; Ends Oct. 2026
• Includes a bi-weekly 2-hour session from Aug. through Dec. 2025.
• Includes a monthly 2-hour session from Jan. 2025 through Oct. 2026.

August Cohort Application Dates:
• The deadline to complete the application is June 20, 2025.
• All applicants will be communicated with by July 9, 2025.
• Kickoff Session will be August 6, 2025, from 1 to 3 pm in Bentonville.
